OUR SOLUTION

The Ritemp™ technology addresses all of the problems mentioned previously

In simple terms, shelling of the mould is combined with cooling by evaporation. The air is evacuated from the cooling chamber, allowing the fluid within the chamber to boil at low temperature. Heat is extracted efficiently from the moulding surfaces as a result of the phase change. The extracted heat is then removed from the mould through a heat exchanger system.

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY EFFICIENT PROCESS.

  • The resultant vapour is condensed and recirculated
  • The process ensures that the temperature throughout the mould is evened out automatically so that a high degree of uniformity is maintained
  • The need for running multiple cooling circuits at different temperatures is removed
  • As oxygen is not allowed in to the sealed cooling chambers the opportunity for corrosion is significantly reduced
  • The volume of pumped water required to remove the heat from the mould is massively reduced providing significant reduction in power costs
